Position – Business Development Manager

About the Role: 

The Business Development Manager will identify, grow and develop new business opportunities for NimbusPost across the UK. One of the primary responsibilities is to drive profitable growth and maximum revenue potential from the territory.



  • Develop new business opportunities across UK
  • Identify, qualify and prioritise all potential opportunities Manage a portfolio of new clients 
  • Develop account plan(s) and delivery mechanisms to enable meeting/exceeding target
  • Build and explore in-depth understanding of the customer’s business, industry, strategic direction & competitors
  • Develop strategic, value-added partnership with the customer by working with the key decision makers & influencers to position long term strategic issues and solutions • Build understanding of Nimbus’ service/product offerings in the customer arena Work with multi-functional departments to guide development of solutions to the customer
  • Deliver solutions which are highly valued by the customer as high impact, complex and strategic
  • Proactively monitor, manage and improve quality through customer satisfaction and issue resolution
  • Identify risk areas & build and manage contingency to mitigate
  • Maintaining all CRM data systems, including account set up, credit control & monthly reports


Experience Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in sales from the Logistics/Courier/SaaS/Ecommerce  Fulfilment Industry in the UK region isrequired
  • Proven track record of delivering growth over a sustained period with the ability to develop a sales pipeline through strategic and targeted planning
  • Target driven and experience of achieving and exceeding stretching portfolio targets-Ability to understand financial, commercial and customer driven targets and objectives
  • Confident with the ability to challenge poor performance and deliver marked change • Confidence and experience in negotiations
  • Strong Negotiator
